COSWD's Role Within NIH

Since its establishment in 2014, COSWD has served as a pivotal advisor to the NIH Director and a catalyst for workforce diversity funding and programs across NIH. As the NIH thought leader in the science of scientific workforce diversity, we strive to build research capacity through a workforce that includes diverse perspectives.
